Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a Virtual Diagnostic Assistant to guide field technicians through diagnostic processes across multiple vehicle classes. The role focuses on remote support, accurate fault code troubleshooting, and adherence to repair procedures with strong customer service.

The VDA uses OE programs, documentation, and live communication to coach field associates, update engine parameters, and ensure issue resolution from start to finish.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in maintenance, training, or diagnostic call center.
• Subject matter expert in light/medium/heavy‑duty OEM engines and electrical systems.
• Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment and communicate clearly.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word/Outlook/Excel and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Assist field technicians with diagnostic troubleshooting and OEM software/tools.
• Reduce diagnostic time per repair and diagnostic repair expenses.
• Engage with OEM centers and field locations via calls and conferences.
• Update the knowledge base with diagnostic outcomes and solutions.
• Provide remote diagnostic support with strong customer service.
