Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Virtual Diagnostic Assistant to guide field technicians through diagnostic processes for a range of vehicle classes. You will support troubleshooting via phone and remote tools, using OEM programs and manuals, while maintaining case knowledge bases.

The role requires strong communication, multi-tasking, and customer service in a fast-paced call-center environment. Expect to participate in OEM diagnostic training, travel as needed, and ensure high customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical School or Associate’s Degree is preferred; Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• ASE certification is not required but preferred (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Assist field technicians with diagnostic troubleshooting by phone and remote support.
• Guide technicians through fault codes and OEM diagnostic programs.
• Maintain case notes and update knowledge base documentation.
• Participate in OEM diagnostic training and travel as needed.
• Demonstrate excellent phone skills and customer service to ensure satisfaction.
