Job summary

Andy J. Egan Co. is seeking a VDC Layout/Design Lead to drive 3D model development, coordination, and fabrication detailing across projects in West Michigan.

The role focuses on technical execution, accurate model production, clash resolution, and field support under the VDC leadership team. You will leverage Revit, Navisworks, and fabrication tools to deliver LOD 350-400 models, assist with constructability reviews, and support field teams on site and at the office.

Qualifications

• 5+ years BIM/VDC modeling and detailing experience.
• Experience with piping systems modeling (MEP).
• Strong Revit and Navisworks knowledge.
• Experience with cloud collaboration platforms (BIM 360/ACI).
• Ability to read drawings, P&IDs, specs, and data.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate 3D models in Revit and fabrication software.
• Model piping, mechanical systems per project requirements.
• Coordinate with trades and resolve clashes.
• Produce fabrication-level models (LOD 350-400).
• Support field teams with drawings and field verification.
• Maintain QA/QC on models and drawings.
