Job summary

SIDRAM TECHNOLOGIES is seeking an experienced VCF Automation Senior Engineer to implement, configure, and optimize VMware Cloud Foundation automation solutions. You will build automation blueprints, cloud templates, and self-service catalogs, and integrate with vSphere, NSX, and vSAN, while supporting Day-2 operations.

The role requires hands-on experience with vRealize Automation or VCF Automation, Terraform, Ansible, and strong communication skills for a remote consulting environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years VMware delivery experience with automation focus.
• Hands-on experience implementing and configuring vRealize Automation or VCF Automation.
• Familiarity with VMware Cloud Foundation 5.2 and exposure to VCF 9.
• Strong knowledge of vSphere, NSX, and vSAN.
• Experience developing automation blueprints, cloud templates, and self-service catalogs.
• Proficiency with vRO, PowerShell, Python, YAML/JSON, and REST API integrations.
• Experience configuring cloud accounts, zones, resource mappings, RBAC, and governance.
• Experience integrating automation with CI/CD, CMDB, ITSM, and external APIs.
• Familiarity with Terraform and Ansible; IaC concepts.
• Experience with at least one hybrid/public cloud: VMware, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and Day-2 operations skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for client-facing roles.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and validate VCF Automation in VMware Cloud Foundation environments.
• Develop automation blueprints and cloud templates for VM provisioning and self-service catalogs.
• Configure cloud accounts, zones, mappings, RBAC, and governance policies.
• Integrate VCF Automation with vSphere, NSX, vSAN and external systems.
• Develop and maintain vRO workflows and REST API integrations.
• Create automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, YAML, and JSON.
• Troubleshoot provisioning failures, workflows, and integration errors; optimize performance.
• Apply IaC principles and integrate Terraform and Ansible.
• Support hybrid cloud provisioning across VMware and public clouds (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Prepare technical docs, runbooks, and Day-2 support procedures.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with architects and customer teams.
