Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect - SDDC for remote post-sales delivery. You will design and deploy data center infrastructure automation solutions, lead architecture work, and mentor team members across VMware VCF, automation tooling, and private AI foundations.

You will collaborate with sales and presales, stay current on industry trends, and ensure seamless integration with customer environments. This role is remote with home office setup determined by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant work experience.
• 7+ years of experience in solutions architecture or infrastructure.
• 10+ years of experience with VMware in enterprise environments.
• 8-10+ years of technical experience with increasing responsibility.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Thorough understanding of virtualization technologies & software-defined datacenter.

Responsibilities

• Perform low-level design and implementation work including architecture analysis and design.
• Design and implement VMware VCF, Automation, and Private AI Foundation solutions.
• Lead projects and mentor other consultants within the team.
• Collaborate with sales and presales to identify and close professional services opportunities.
• Provide technical leadership in pre-sales and post-sales engagements.
• Stay up to date with top industry trends and offerings.
