Job summary

Decile Group is transforming venture capital with an integrated platform and a global mission to launch 10,000 next-generation venture capital firms by 2030. We seek a Fund Accountant to execute core fund accounting workflows across a defined set of venture funds, ensuring precision and robust reporting.

You'll gain hands-on exposure to fund structures, capital activity, and investor reporting within a structured team.

Qualifications

• 2–4+ years of experience in fund accounting, accounting, or fund administration.
• Familiarity with venture capital or private equity fund structures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage recurring deadlines across multiple funds.
• Clear written communication and reliable follow-through.
• Interest in improving accounting workflows through better systems, data, or automation.
• Nice to Have: Prior experience supporting audits or year-end close processes.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day fund accounting tasks, including transaction booking, allocations, and capital activity.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records across assigned funds.
• Prepare periodic financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Support capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting processes.
• Assist with audit and tax preparation through clean, well‑organized workpapers.
• Follow documented processes and controls consistently.
• Surface questions or discrepancies promptly to senior team members.
