Job summary
Centene is seeking a Lead VBC Quality Consultant to serve as the strategic quality advisor for an assigned portfolio of Value-Based Care organizations. You will analyze performance, develop improvement strategies, and partner with provider networks to enhance Medicare Stars, HEDIS, CAHPS, and related quality outcomes.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years experience in Medicare quality improvement, Medicare Stars, HEDIS, population health, or related work.
- Strong knowledge of CMS Medicare Stars and NCQA HEDIS specifications and performance improvement methods.
- Experience analyzing healthcare performance data and translating findings into actionable strategies.
- Proficiency with Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint for data visualization and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Lead or contribute to cross-functional workgroups addressing performance barriers and data issues.
- Develop quality strategies, action plans, milestones, and accountability mechanisms for VBC portfolios.
- Monitor performance against Medicare Stars, HEDIS, CAHPS, and related goals.
- Translate data findings into focused initiatives to close care gaps and improve patient experience.
- Coordinate execution, monitor results, and escalate barriers with provider partners.
