Job summary

House Buyers of America is seeking a 100% remote Valuations Analyst to value prospective deals and determine a scope of work for properties we acquire. The VA will determine market value estimates and pricing strategies for both acquisitions and eventual dispositions, supporting fast, reliable decisions.

Responsibilities include optimizing ROI, collaborating with Sales and Construction on budgets and scopes, valuing properties across the US, meeting turnaround objectives, and handling multiple

Qualifications

• 3 years minimum experience required in residential property valuations/underwriting.
• Appraisal license or you have completed all appraisal coursework (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• Amazing computer skills and pick up new technology quickly.

Responsibilities

• Determine pricing strategy to maximize ROI for acquired properties and turnaround times for dispositions.
• Partner with Sales and Construction on pricing decisions, budget and scope of work for construction strategy.
• Value properties across the entire US and ensure valuation accuracy.
• Meet turnaround objectives for all valuations to avoid long market time.
• Handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Do anything else necessary to help the company meet its goals.
