Job summary

Aptive Resources is hiring for the Dept. of Veterans Affairs' Meds by Mail program, supporting the Dublin, GA MbM site. This fully remote role requires residence within 50 miles of the Dublin facility and uses VA-provided equipment.

As a Certified Pharmacy Technician, you will process prescriptions, triage calls, and perform clerical tasks under VA pharmacist supervision. The position is a 12-month contract with potential extension, and 13 openings exist statewide to support MbM operations.

Qualifications

• PTCB (CPhT) or NHA (ExCPT) certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must read/write/speak English fluently.
• Must reside within 50 miles of the Dublin, GA facility.
• Computer proficiency for data entry and pharmacy systems.

Responsibilities

• Enter prescription data in VA pharmacy information systems.
• Review and process external prescriptions per MbM SOPs.
• Triage call center inquiries from patients, caregivers, and provider offices.
• Communicate therapeutic change requests to provider offices.
• Educate patients on proper medication use within technician scope.
• Complete clerical and documentation tasks to MbM standards.
• Follow HIPAA, Privacy Act, and VA information security requirements.
