Job summary

Loyal Source is seeking a Physician Assistant to perform Compensation & Pension examinations for Veterans. The role involves reviewing records, conducting focused assessments, and delivering objective medical opinions. Expect 10% travel and remote charting as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• A valid and unrestricted PA license in the United States.
• Minimum 1 year of physician assistant experience.
• BLS certification required with renewals.
• Military experience or familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive medical disability examinations and assess impact on daily activities.
• Review and analyze medical records and diagnostic test results.
• Render objective medical opinions based on examination findings and records.
• Coordinate with QA and case management systems to submit findings.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements.
