Job summary

CorVel Corporation is seeking a Utilization Review Intake Specialist for a remote role. You will support the UR/Case Management department by handling calls, verifying information, and entering data in CareMCsystem.

Ideal candidates will have a High School diploma (associate degree preferred) and strong multitasking, communication, and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• A.A. degree or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming telephone calls and take notes for precertification requests.
• Verify patient, provider and facility information is accurate in the system.
• Enter notes and service requests in CareMCsystem.
• Communicate with stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
• Additional duties as assigned.
