Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking an Utilization Review Coordinator to support UR processes from a telecommuter role in Florida. You will assign UR cases, verify information, and maintain data integrity within clinical management systems.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or GED and at least two years of administrative experience, preferably in medical or workers' compensation settings. Excellent communication and MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of administrative experience or equivalent combination required; healthcare experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical and insurance terminology and data entry in claims/clinical systems is essential.

Responsibilities

• Access, triage and assign utilization review cases.
• Respond to inquiries with accurate information and triage as needed.
• Enter demographics and UR data into the system with data integrity.
• Obtain all information required for UR processing from internal and external sources.
• Distribute mail, faxes, and upload documents into the paperless system.
• Support other units as needed.
