Job summary

Humana, Inc. is seeking a remote UM Administration Coordinator to support utilization management operations.

You will handle provider and member phone interactions, perform back-office tasks, and assist with prior authorizations while reporting to the Supervisor, UM Management. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent service in a remote setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
• Experience handling 30–50 calls daily across multiple systems.
• Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Wired internet connection required; no Wi‑Fi.
• Private, distraction-free workspace with webcam for meetings.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound calls about prior authorizations, utilization management, and benefits.
• Process and review prior authorization requests and documentation.
• Perform back-office administrative tasks and case research.
• Verify and enter accurate information across multiple systems; document interactions.
• Monitor work queues to meet SLAs and turnaround times.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to resolve issues.
