Job summary

Eaton in Franklin, MA seeks a Utility Field Application Engineer for a home-based role within 50 miles of specified locations. You will lead design, development and validation of Eaton products while mentoring sales engineers and supporting external and internal customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and 7+ years in electrical industry sales or engineering.
• Valid driver’s license; no relocation benefit offered within 50 miles of Franklin, MA.
• PE license preferred and knowledge of Eaton products and competitors.

Responsibilities

• Call on electrical engineers and consulting firms to position Eaton products.
• Support major projects with submittals, drawings and client interfacing.
• Conduct product seminars and trainings for end users, distributors and sales engineers.
• Assist with design-build opportunities and quotations.
• Coordinate customer visits, inspections and witness tests.
• Travel up to 50% as needed.
