Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER NAS division is seeking a Utilities Field Application Engineer for a home-based role. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Franklin, MA; Syracuse, NY; Clifton Park, NY; Rochester, NY or Windsor, CT.

You will lead design, development and validation of Eaton products, provide technical leadership to sales engineers and customers, and support projects from submittals to training with travel up to 50% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum seven (7) years of electrical industry sales and/or electrical engineering experience.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• No relocation benefit; within 50 miles of specified locations; Military eligible.

Responsibilities

• Call on electrical engineers and utility customers to position Eaton products.
• Provide support on major projects including submittals and drawings.
• Conduct product seminars and training for end users, distributors and sales engineers.
• Assist with design-build opportunities and project quotations.
• Coordinate customer factory visits, inspections and witness tests.
