Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER NAS division is seeking a Utility Field Application Engineer. This is a home-based position and candidates must reside within 50 miles of Syracuse, NY or other listed locations, with travel up to 50% expected.

You will lead design, development and validation of Eaton products and services, providing technical leadership and mentoring for sales engineers, distributors and customers. The role requires strong communication, project support, and the ability to position Eaton against

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum seven (7) years of electrical industry sales and/or electrical engineering experience.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Willing to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Call on electrical engineers and consulting firms to support design and position Eaton products.
• Provide project support including submittals, drawings, and customer interfacing.
• Conduct product seminars and training for end users, distributors and sales engineers.
• Assist with design-build opportunities and quotations.
• Coordinate customer factory visits and witness tests.
