Job summary

Siltech Corporation, a Canadian owned global provider of organo-functional silicone specialties, is seeking a USA Sales Manager, Polyurethanes to sell SILSTABS silicone surfactants in the United States. The successful candidate would work from a home office.

Reporting to the Global Business Manager, Polyurethanes, the Sales Manager will prospect, sell products and develop markets in polyurethane applications, including rigid and flexible foams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience selling PU silicone surfactants or PUR chemicals.
• Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering required.
• Ability to work productively with technical teams.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel for sales calls and tradeshows.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers.
• Promote and secure orders through relationship-based selling.
• Present products and assist customers in selecting solutions.
• Prepare clear written proposals and quotations.
• Maintain CRM records of quotes and meetings.
• Coordinate with marketing, logistics and technical teams.
• Travel for sales calls and tradeshows.
