The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, collaboration with analysts and product partners, and a focus on scalable, reliable software. AWS, Kubernetes, and .NET technologies are central to our stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in industry, with 2+ years in AVP/leadership.
• 7+ years in software development.
• Strong OO programming and relational database knowledge.
• Expert in C# and .NET Framework (ASP.NET preferred).
• Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures.
• AWS cloud experience; hands-on with Kubernetes and ADO.
• Experience with AI tools: Claude & Cursor.
• Excellent communication; Agile and DevOps practices.
• Able to learn new technologies as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a software development team to design, develop, test, and deliver features.
• Partner with analysts, product stakeholders, and support teams to translate needs into scalable solutions.
• Oversee design, code quality, release readiness, and production support.
• Guide proofs of concepts and evaluate new tools and frameworks.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership, architecture input, code reviews, coaching.
• Mentor and develop direct reports with feedback and career planning.
• Plan and prioritize workload, remove blockers, ensure timelines and quality.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
