Job summary

Included Health seeks a board-certified Nurse Practitioner licensed in Rhode Island with multi-state licensure to provide virtual comprehensive care to patients of all ages. This part-time role requires 3+ years in urgent or primary care, with strong EMR skills and Medicare status maintained.

Expect evening/weekend shifts; flexible scheduling is coordinated by the team. Ideal candidates possess Rhode Island licensure, 5+ licenses, and a passion for improving access to care through telemedicine.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Master’s or Doctoral-level Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program.
Active NP license with RN licensure in accordance with state requirements.
Current national certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through AANP or ANCC.
Active RN compact license.
Active multi-state licensure (5+ licenses preferred).
Minimum 3+ years post-training experience in high-volume Urgent Care or Primary Care settings.
Experience providing care to newborns through adult populations.
Ability to function within an integrated medical practice.
Strong clinical acumen and ability to manage a broad range of conditions.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient engagement skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct age-appropriate history and virtual exams.
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of conditions across the lifespan.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed.
Develop and document treatment plans in a timely, accurate manner.
Manage acute, chronic, and mental health conditions for pediatric and adult patients.
Request consultation or referral with other health care providers when appropriate.
Counsel and educate patients and families on treatment plans.
Maintain current knowledge of clinical best practices and evidence‑based care.
Provide cross‑coverage for tasks such as reviewing lab results.
Offer scheduling flexibility, including evenings and weekends.
