Qualifications

• Equivalent combination of experience and training with 18 credits in finance and accounting, including 6 accounting credits.
• Residence in Berks or Lebanon County by time of hire and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Audit employer records: Review payroll and financial documents to determine accurate wage reporting.
• Investigate discrepancies: Examine misclassified workers or unreported wages.
• Reconstruct payrolls: Rebuild incomplete or missing employer wage records when needed.
• Communicate findings: Explain audit results, assessments, and appeal rights to employers.
• Support compliance actions: Initiate corrective steps when employers fail to follow UC Law requirements.
• Assist in legal processes: Provide information or testimony for hearings related to audit findings.
