This position, home headquartered in Pennsylvania, involves travel within an assigned area and collaboration with local businesses to ensure accurate tax reporting under the Unemployment Compensation Law.

Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree with finance/accounting credits and may be within 3 months of graduation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree which includes or is supplemented by 18 college credits in finance and accounting, of which at least 6 credits are in accounting.
• Equivalent combination of experience and training which includes 18 college credits in finance and accounting, of which at least 6 credits are in accounting.
• Applicants will be within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.

Responsibilities

• Audit employer records to determine wage reporting accuracy.
• Investigate discrepancies, including misclassified workers or unreported wages.
• Reconstruct payrolls when needed.
• Communicate audit findings and appeal rights to employers.
• Support compliance actions for UC Law requirements.
• Provide information or testimony for hearings related to audit findings.
