Placements24 is seeking a proactive and organized Remote Underwriting Assistant to support its underwriting team from home. The role focuses on gathering information, processing applications, and handling administrative tasks related to risk assessment and policy issuance.

You will work independently in a remote setting, communicating with brokers, agents, and clients, maintaining files and databases, and contributing to efficient underwriting operations through attention to detail and timely

Qualifications

• Experience in an administrative or support role, preferably within the insurance industry or a related financial services field.
• Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency with computer systems, including databases, spreadsheets, and word processing software.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with internal and external parties.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist underwriters in gathering and organizing prospect information, including application forms, financial statements, and inspection reports.
• Process new business applications and existing policy endorsements, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate.
