Job summary

Mutual of Omaha is seeking a curious, analytical, and relationship-focused Business Systems Analyst to join our Underwriting Operations team. You will partner with business teams, vendors, and stakeholders to analyze data, improve processes, solve operational challenges, and support strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Partner with underwriting, operations, technology, and business stakeholders to understand needs and improve processes.
• Research operational challenges by gathering data, identifying trends and root causes, and recommending solutions.
• Develop recurring and ad hoc reports using Excel to communicate performance, opportunities, risks and insights.
• Support operations and initiatives including access management, vendor partnerships, testing and process documentation.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to drive continuous improvement and leverage technology, automation and AI-enabled solutions.
