Job summary

Amynta Group is seeking an Underwriting Operations Specialist to join ScionSecurity. The role supports the production underwriting team with policy life cycle tasks, submissions, invoicing, and broker data upkeep, while delivering strong customer service.

You will become a power user of our policy management platforms, identify process improvements, and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance underwriting efficiency and service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support the production UW team with insurance policy life cycle tasks tied to agent service.
• Monitor Submissions and interface with UWs concerning submission appointments.
• Support all phases of policy binding, issuance, invoicing, and cancellation.
• Endorse and update policies as needed.
• Identify opportunities for customer service engagement and improvements.
• Interface with partners to assist broker appointments and data upkeep.
• Identify process improvements to enhance underwriting efficiency.
• Become a power user of policy management platforms for solutions and procedures.
• Identify and resolve issues within the policy lifecycle.
• Monitor Outlook and Teams to communicate with stakeholders.
• Communicate clearly with internal and external teams.
• Engage with leadership to solve problems.

The Underwriting Operations Specialist is a key part of the production underwriting capabilities of ScionSecurity Underwriters. This position is two-fold, primarily as a member of the underwriting team providing support related to submissions, policies, billing, and associated tasks, and contributing to the customer service interface. The Underwriting Operations specialist will focus on a variety of tasks relating to the functionality of our production underwriting team. The Underwriting Operations Specialist will have a level of authority and will have a capability and skill set that supports their development into a production underwriter. The Operation Specialist role can be filled by individuals with industry experience. Core Responsibilities

• Support the production UW team with insurance policy life cycle tasks tied to agent service.

• Identify opportunities for customer service engagement and improvement, including communication platforms.
• Interface with other company partners to assist in broker appointments and internal broker data upkeep.
• Identify creative solutions to improve underwriting and operational efficiency.
• Become a power user of our online policy management platforms to deliver creative solutions and new operational procedures.
• Identify and solve issues within the insurance policy lifecycle.
• Monitor and engage with Microsoft Outlook and Teams to best communicate with key stake holders.
• Clearly and amicably communicate with internal and external team.
