Job summary

CRC Group is seeking a qualified underwriter/broker to identify and arrange insurance coverage for clients. You will manage underwriting and binding processes with carriers, and collaborate with brokerage markets to place and renew business.

The role requires 3+ years in underwriting or brokerage and an active license. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent designation is required, with strong client service and relationship-building skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or insurance designation required.
• Three years of underwriting or brokerage experience in E&S or specialty lines.
• Must be licensed in corresponding areas of insurance.
• Ability to analyze insurance policies, terms, and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Manage underwriting process in line with carrier guidelines and CRC policies.
• Submit information to brokerage markets for accounts outside binding authority.
• Make underwriting decisions and resolve complex coverage issues for retail accounts.
• Develop and maintain relationships with binding-authority and brokerage carriers.
• Solicit, market, quote, bind and confirm new and existing business.
