Job summary

Southwire Company, LLC is seeking a remote craftsman for underground cable rejuvenation injections. You will operate TDR/RF locating gear, inject rejuvenation fluids, and provide field service while maintaining safety. Travel may be required to support projects across North America.

Strong safety focus and ability to work with a qualified electrical workforce are essential. CDL preferred; licensing and travel readiness are valued assets for this role.

Qualifications

• Background in construction, prefer electric utility experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean DMV record.
• CDL preferred.
• Willingness to travel, including Canada.

Responsibilities

• Operate TDR waveform and RF locators for cable testing and path analysis.
• Place and operate injection equipment on de-energized cables.
• Perform air flow tests and prepare cables for injection.
• Inject rejuvenation fluids on URD/underground feeders.
• Provide field service and assist with job planning and hazard avoidance.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
