Qualifications

• High School Diploma obtained, Associate's Degree highly preferred.
• 1+ year work experience with basic financial operations including debits/credits, reconciliation, invoice structures and payment lifecycles.
• Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills.
• Understanding of how payments flow, how to match payments to invoices, and how unapplied cash affects financials.
• Ability to investigate discrepancies, interpret remittances, and resolve unidentified cash with attention to detail and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Review and reconcile unapplied cash.
• Work closely with sites to confirm visit activity.
• Enter charges into the clinical trial management system (CTMS) if/when needed.
• Application of receivables to Cash Receipts Log for all lines of business.
• Transactional line-item cash posting into proprietary systems based on remittance detail provided by pharmaceutical companies.
• Ensure accuracy of cash postings by contacting pharmaceutical companies to verify payment remittance details.
• Review, interpret and discuss remittances from payers for data accuracy.
