Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a UI/UX Designer to create intuitive, accessible experiences for enterprise financial applications. You will translate complex requirements into wireframes, prototypes, and scalable design systems while ensuring accessibility and enterprise standards.

The role is remote in the United States, with flexibility and a focus on work-life balance. You will collaborate with product owners, analysts, operations, clients, and engineers to optimize transfer agency and fixed income

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UI/UX design experience in enterprise SaaS/financial services or complex business environments.
• Strong expertise in Figma, wireframing, interactive prototyping, and design systems.
• Hands-on usability testing, user research, and stakeholder workshops.
• Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and user-centered design principles.
• Experience designing data-rich applications, dashboards, and workflow-driven platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design user journeys, information architecture, wireframes, prototypes, dashboards, and interaction models for enterprise financial applications.
• Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Operations teams, clients, and engineering stakeholders to simplify complex workflows.
• Conduct user research, discovery workshops, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews.
• Develop and maintain design systems, UI standards, component libraries, and reusable design patterns.
• Apply accessibility best practices including Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 compliance.
