Job summary
Synergy is seeking a highly qualified UI/UX specialist to support the US Coast Guard. You will bridge design and functionality, leading end-to-end interfaces from research to production-ready front-end code. Work with an Agile team to turn complex requirements into intuitive, performant experiences.
Required: Bachelor's degree, strong UI/UX background, experience with Figma/Adobe XD, and knowledge of HTML/CSS. This role is remote/work-from-home with a competitive salary and benefits.
Qualifications
- Experience designing enterprise, data-dense applications.
- Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Strong interaction design and information architecture.
- Experience building design systems and reusable components.
- Solid HTML/CSS knowledge and ability to work with developers.
- Experience with user research and usability testing.
- Familiar with Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end user experiences from research to production-ready UI.
- Translate data-heavy workflows into clear interfaces.
- Create and maintain a shared design system and component library.
- Collaborate with developers to implement designs with specs and tokens.
- Conduct user research and usability testing with stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies throughout the lifecycle.
