Job summary

Dev Technology Group seeks a Senior UI/UX Front-End Design Lead to drive strategy and execution across a large federal agency. You will serve as the central design authority, ensuring consistent, intuitive experiences across diverse tech stacks including React and Power Platform.

The role requires 8+ years in UI/UX, with strong leadership, accessibility expertise, and a hands-on approach within Agile/DevSecOps environments. US citizenship and ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust are required.

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of hands-on UI/UX design/implementation with development teams.
3–5 years leading design initiatives across multiple applications or cross-functional teams.
Advanced proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3; strong design tool experience (Figma or Adobe).
Strong understanding of accessibility standards (Section 508, WCAG).
Experience with React and Power Platform; Agile/DevSecOps environment experience.
Excellent communication and ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Serve as UI/UX SME; translate business requirements into intuitive interfaces.
Drive UI/UX best practices across programs; ensure usability and accessibility.
Establish reusable components and design systems; leverage Bootstrap, Material UI.
Collaborate with product owners, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver user-centered solutions.
Lead modernization roadmap and proactive process improvements across frontend teams.
Provide final UI/UX reviews and sign-off across platforms (React, Power Platform, M365, etc.).
Coach and mentor teams on modern UI/UX approaches.
