Job summary

Public Consulting Group, LLC is seeking a Trust Account Specialist to support federal revenue management for the Wisconsin Department of Children & Families. You will manage trust funds, including Social Security and child support, ensuring accurate, compliant accounting practices.

The role requires attention to detail, timely reconciliations, and clear communication with client representatives and affiliates.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with general accounting principles.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines.
• Detail orientation.
• Ability to understand and interpret federal and state laws and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and client-facing skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct electronic systems eligibility review for youth entering care and annually thereafter.
• Perform all account management and reconciliation activities accurately and timely.
• Complete all federal and state reports and requests accurately and timely.
• Ensure that accounts are closed and funds distributed appropriately and timely when youth leaves DCF care.
• Provide clear and timely communication to client representatives and affiliate agencies.
• Monitor performance standard measurements for trust accounting activities.
• Participate in state and federal audit inquiries.
• Maintain positive working relationship with the client and colleagues.
