Job summary

Public Consulting Group LLC is seeking a Trust Account Specialist to join the Wisconsin DCF revenue management team. You will manage funds related to Social Security benefits, child support, and other federal or public payments, ensuring accurate accounting and compliance.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work independently or in a team, and committed to public service. A bachelor’s degree is preferred and 1–2 years of relevant experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with general accounting principles.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to understand and interpret federal and state laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct electronic systems eligibility review for youth entering care and annually thereafter.
• Perform all account management and reconciliation activities accurately and timely.
• Complete all federal and state reports and requests accurately and timely.
• Ensure accounts are closed and funds distributed appropriately when a child leaves DCF care.
• Provide clear and timely communication to client representatives and affiliate agencies.
• Monitor performance standard measurements for trust accounting activities.
• Participate in state and federal audit inquiries.
• Maintain positive working relationship with the client and colleagues.
