Job summary

State of Washington's Health Care Authority seeks a Tribal Affairs Contracts Portfolio Manager to lead the government-to-government contract portfolio for Tribes, including Nation Agreements and Medicaid-related claims. The role anchors strategic oversight across Medicaid, behavioral health, policy, finance, and legal teams.

You will manage multi-divisional workgroups, develop performance dashboards, and coordinate with OCP to ensure compliance and timely deliverables in a remote setting with

Qualifications

• Experience with Government-to-Government protocols.
• Knowledge of Federal Indian Law and tribal health jurisdiction.
• Strong written and oral communication across legal, policy, and procurement domains.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage OTA’s contracting portfolio with clear scope, method, and timelines.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team on Indian Nation contracts and procurements.
• Drive large procurements and advise on contracting strategies.
• Monitor the Tribal Nation Agreement and track deliverables across divisions.
