OhioHealth in Columbus, Ohio, seeks a Triage RN for our Heart & Vascular Referral Center. This remote, non-bedside role involves screening ambulatory cardiology referrals, directing them to appropriate subspecialties, and coordinating with scheduling and office staff.

Requires strong cardiovascular knowledge and independent clinical decision-making. The RN will review histories, tests, and documentation to identify the best care path, while ensuring timely access and compassionate patient

Competenze

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• BLS certification required.
• 2+ years of Heart and Vascular experience preferred.
• Ambulatory experience is a plus.

Mansioni

• Triage ambulatory cardiology referrals by reviewing patient charts to direct to general cardiology or subspecialty.
• Evaluate histories, testing, procedures, and documentation to identify appropriate care paths.
• Collaborate with scheduling teams and care staff to facilitate urgent requests and ensure efficient routing.
• Provide nursing care and support across the continuum of care in a remote, non-bedside setting.
• Communicate effectively with cardiology practices and care teams to coordinate patient care.
