Job summary

Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York is seeking a Development Coordinator to support fundraising and outreach in the NY Tri-State region. The role involves coordinating volunteers, events, and donor communications to advance evangelization and development goals.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior gift officers, RC staff, and marketing teams, with frequent on-site duties in NY, CT, and NJ and occasional travel.

Qualifications

• BS/BA required.
• Minimum of three years of experience in development office administration, project coordination, and/or event coordination.
• Proficiency with MS Office, project management software, and CRM/database applications.
• Naturally proactive, organized and collaborative team player.
• Strong planning and implementation skills for organized systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate well by phone and email.
• Must reside in the Tri-State region (NY/CT/NJ).
• Must embrace Regnum Christi, Legionaries of Christ and Catholic Church mission.
• Regnum Christi movement experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop fundraising strategies and collaborate with Legionaries, RC Consecrated Women, and donors to support evangelization.
• Set and execute annual locality fundraising goals and plans.
• Lead and organize locality fundraising campaigns and events.
• Strengthen donor relations and coordinate fundraising activities with RC teams and marketing.
• Maintain donor database CRM, run queries, and prepare fundraising reports.
• Oversee locality website and local marketing outreach.
• Coordinate travel for team meetings and participate in national development meetings.
