Job summary

Schnabel, Inc. is seeking a Trenchless Practice Lead to drive design and rehabilitation for tunnel projects. The role focuses on leading planning, design, and construction phase support while mentoring staff and expanding the trenchless practice nationwide.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in tunnel engineering with a strong trenchless background, PE licensure, and excellent communication skills to coordinate cross‑discipline teams and client relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geotechnical, or Structural Engineering from ABET-accredited school (Masters preferred).
• Licensed Professional Engineer with ability to reciprocity to other US states.
• Minimum 15 years tunnel engineering with strong trenchless background.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and construction phase support for trenchless installations and rehabilitations.
• Manage trenchless and tunnel projects including scope, schedule, and budget.
• Mentor and train junior staff and lead business development efforts.
