Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Resource Technician to support wind energy operations across multiple sites in the Midwest. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain turbines, traveling between Jefferson City, MO and other project sites as needed.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and hands-on mechanical/electrical work, with on-site training and GWO certifications provided. A high school diploma and a wind-related credential are preferred.

Qualifications

• Wind Technician certificate or wind turbine experience or mechanical/electrical background.
• Must be able to read and follow English instructions.
• Safety-focused with willingness to travel across sites.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain wind turbines with the team.
• Travel to multiple sites and manage travel-related tasks.
• Perform safety inspections and maintain a safe work environment.
• Handle complex troubleshooting and on-site problem solving.
• Participate in construction and installation projects over turbine life cycle.
• Adapt to various turbine platforms and site conditions.
