Tutera Senior Living & Health Care seeks a Remote / Travel Business Office Manager to oversee the business office, ensure compliance with applicable guidelines, and coordinate with the Central Billing Office on insurance payments.

The role emphasizes strong communication, knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid processes, and LTC experience, with remote/travel duties and a focus on resident care and administration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree in business or accounting preferred.
• Prior experience in business office operations in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting required.
• Must possess effective communication skills with residents, families, staff, physicians, consultants, providers, and government agencies.
• Current knowledge of local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations.
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall business office activities in accordance with current federal, state, and local guidelines and as directed by the administrator.
• Coordinate with the Central Billing Office on managing insurance payments (private, Medicare, Medicaid, and other managed care).
• Manage refunds for accounts receivable and maintain logs and reports (resident funds, census records, case accounts).
