Job summary

Marigold Rehab and Healthcare Center in Illinois is seeking a Business Office Assistant to support the Business Office Manager and oversee daily administrative activities in line with applicable federal, state, and local guidelines.

You will coordinate insurance payments (private, Medicare, Medicaid and other managed care), manage refunds for accounts receivable, and maintain logs and reports for resident funds, census records, and case accounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in business office operations in LTC/SNF/AL/MC preferred.
• Must maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, physicians, consultants, providers, and the community.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support the Business Office Manager and oversee daily business office activities in accordance with applicable guidelines.
