Job summary

Lakeview Behavioral Health is seeking a licensed mental health professional to join our remote team as a full-time Licensed Mental Health Counselor. You will provide trauma-informed mental health care to clients, conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans.

You will lead individual and group therapy using EMDR and TF-CBT, respond to crises, coordinate with psychiatrists, educate families, and document progress in a compliant, secure EHR environment.

Qualifications

• MA or PhD in a recognized mental health field.
• Florida licensure as LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT is required.
• Minimum 2 years post-licensure in mental health counseling with trauma focus.
• Strong interpersonal and therapeutic skills; able to engage clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct trauma-informed assessments and craft treatment plans.
• Develop and monitor individualized trauma recovery plans using evidence-based methods.
• Provide individual and group therapy with EMDR and TF-CBT modalities.
• Deliver crisis intervention and emotional support during emergencies.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team for integrated care.
• Educate clients and families about trauma responses and coping strategies.
• Document all clinical interactions accurately in secure EHR systems.
• Engage in ongoing education and professional development.
