Job summary

Children’s Advocate seeks a Behavior Support Mentor to provide remote therapeutic mentoring to clients facing trauma and behavioral health challenges. You will collaborate with parents, guardians, court staff, and case workers, while maintaining safety and confidentiality.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or equivalent, with 2+ years as a Peer Mentor in behavioral health; BA/BS preferred. Bilingual Spanish/English welcomed, with ongoing professional development encouraged.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; BA/BS preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience as Peer Mentor in behavioral health.
• Bilingual Spanish and English welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Provide client therapeutic mentoring remotely.
• Establish positive rapport with clients and guardians.
• Ensure safety and welfare of clients and staff.
• Maintain session notes and collect data with accuracy.
• Communicate with parents/legal guardians, court staff, probation officers and case workers.
