Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage a book of business, retain clients, and coordinate day-to-day administrative and service activities. You will lead the account management team, handle policy administration, renewals, billing, and coverage analysis to ensure service excellence.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance, with active P&C licensing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Required active licensing; CIC or equivalent designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues.
• Maintain policy expirations and renewals, and handle billing and coverage analysis.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and maintain agency management systems.
