• TMS experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong communications and process skills; ability to evaluate and challenge the current state.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement transportation strategies to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of goods, inbound and outbound.
• Coordinate with internal departments and external partners to streamline shipping processes.
• Plan and schedule shipments based on production schedules, orders and inventory levels.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and logistics providers.
• Monitor and evaluate vendor performance for service quality and compliance with agreements.
• Oversee daily transportation operations, ensuring policy, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Manage transportation budgets to reduce costs while maintaining service quality.
• Implement KPIs to track and improve operational efficiency.
• Address transportation issues such as delays, damages, and discrepancies.
