Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to manage a book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new opportunities. The role supports daily admin, client service, renewals, and coverage analysis while coordinating a team and maintaining data accuracy.

The position favors an active P&C license with experience in commercial transportation/trucking, and may involve remote work across several states with on-site needs per policy.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty license required; CIC or equivalent designation preferred.
• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues and ensuring accuracy.
• Lead daily activities of the account management team and monitor performance.
• Renewals, policy administration, billing, and coverage analysis.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms; ensure data accuracy.
