Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Transit Safety Security Specialist V to lead project tasks for internal and external clients across the United States using risk-management processes from FTA and industry standards from APTA. The role emphasizes organization, self-starting work ethic, and guiding junior staff for multi-disciplinary tasks.

The candidate will oversee PHAs/TVAs, facilitate workshops, and develop CSCCs/SSCs, with direct client and project manager engagement.

Qualifications

• BA/BS + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• A valid driver's license is required, along with the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check in accordance with company policy.

Responsibilities

• Development of PHAs/TVAs and associated mitigations/countermeasures.
• Holding workshops with multi-disciplinary groups/committees
• CEL/CIL Development
• Development of DCCCs/CSCCs
• Direct interaction with agency clients and project managers
• SSC document and report preparation
• PTASP development, annual reviews, and updates
• SSC training for internal and external clients
