Job summary

Sax Advisory Group, LLC is seeking a Transaction Advisory Services Director to lead end-to-end deal analysis on buy-side and sell-side engagements, including financial due diligence, Quality of Earnings, and working capital assessments. You will serve as a trusted advisor to private equity firms, lenders, and executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field.
• CPA certification.
• Progressive experience in financial due diligence, Quality of Earnings, and business valuation, including engagement management and director-level responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, internal control objectives, financial statement analysis, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead buy-side due diligence engagements, including Quality of Earnings, Quality of Assets, and customized due diligence for corporate, private equity, and lenders.
• Manage and lead sell-side due diligence and consulting engagements.
• Identify issues and key risks supporting purchase price reductions, deal restructuring, or deal termination, and communicate them clearly to clients.
• Adjust reported earnings to reflect actual recurring operations and manage deliverables to meet deadlines.
• Prepare working capital analyses and support working capital disputes.
• Develop financial models, market multiples, and cash flow analyses, including leveraged and unleveraged buyouts.
• Analyze client financial data to identify trends, GAAP departures, and operational characteristics.
• Originate and develop new business, lead proposals, and build relationships with private equity, venture capitalists, attorneys, and other industry contacts.
• Prepare engagement letters, develop fees, and set budgets for new and prospective clients.
• Develop and implement practice processes to improve deal realization.
• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, including presenting Quality of Earnings findings, key risks, or issues.
