Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Training Manager to lead the Commercial training department, shaping the learning strategy and delivering programs across franchises. You will drive content development, delivery, and measurement, collaborating with sales and marketing to meet business objectives and ensure compliance.

This remote role supports the USA market with a focus on learning and development, eLearning, and enterprise training initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree required.
5+ years total experience in life science/pharmaceutical field sales and/or marketing.
Willingness to travel to meetings or client sites, with approximately 50% travel.

Responsibilities

Lead training for initial field onboarding and ongoing strategic initiatives.
Oversee training programs including strategy, content creation, delivery, and measurement.
Collaborate with direct manager, sales and marketing to align learning strategies with business objectives.
Act as SME in adult learning and share best practices across the department.
Develop and facilitate training for new hire, management and national workshops.
Ensure training materials reflect latest market trends and compliant reviews (Medical/Regulatory/Legal).
Coordinate with external consultants for contracts and training needs; manage budget within guidelines.
Provide guidance and coaching to team members on design and priorities.
Support two-way vendor partnerships to improve operational efficiency and service quality.
