Job summary

Considine Search is seeking a Trademark Paralegal to support US and international trademark functions, including searching, clearance, prosecution, maintenance, and enforcement. This role emphasizes meticulous research, drafting, and coordination with foreign counsel.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of paralegal experience in a law firm, strong knowledge of USPTO systems, and proficiency with Corsearch and Saegis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate.
• 4+ years of Paralegal experience in a law firm.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work with attorneys and clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preliminary trademark clearance searches and investigate potentially conflicting marks.
• Draft and file US trademark applications; prepare descriptions of goods and services.
• Prepare and file use and renewal documents in USPTO.
• Prepare draft responses to Office Actions for the USPTO and coordinate with foreign counsel.
• Support TTAB proceedings, oppositions, and related enforcement matters.
