Job summary

The NBA seeks an experienced Trademark Paralegal to join its fast-paced legal team in New York. You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of the NBA's worldwide trademark portfolio, file and prosecute USPTO documents, and coordinate with outside counsel to safeguard the brand.

You will also lead digital brand enforcement, monitoring marketplaces for counterfeit goods, drafting infringement notices, and coordinating takedowns across platforms, while maintaining precise IP docketing records and

Qualifications

At least 5 years of trademark or IP paralegal experience required.
Strong knowledge of USPTO procedures, TEAS filings, TTAB, Madrid/WIPO.
Experience with IP docketing software and foreign associate management.

Responsibilities

Prosecute and manage the worldwide trademark portfolio from filing to renewal.
Draft responses to USPTO Office Actions and international actions.
Oversee TTAB proceedings and manage Madrid Protocol filings.
Lead digital brand enforcement, monitor marketplaces for infringements, and draft takedown notices.
Provide enforcement reporting and coordinate with outside counsel and internal teams.
