Job summary

Acceler8 Talent seeks a Technical Program Manager specializing in embedded software for AI accelerators. This role coordinates firmware, drivers, and low-level software tied to silicon milestones, with a remote-friendly US setup and HQ in SF.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years in technical programme management, direct accelerator/semiconductor experience, and a proven ability to drive tape-out readiness across cross-functional teams including ASIC, firmware, and toolchains.

Qualifications

8+ years in technical programme or project management.
Direct experience with AI accelerators, GPUs, NPUs, DSPs, SoCs, or semiconductor products.
Experience managing embedded software, firmware, or driver programmes for new silicon.
Experience supporting tape-out, pre-silicon validation, first-silicon bring-up, or board bring-up.
Strong knowledge of firmware, Linux drivers, memory, DMA, interrupts, boot flows, and hardware-software interfaces.

Responsibilities

Own embedded-software programmes across firmware, drivers, bootloaders, and BSPs.
Align software delivery with tape-out, pre-silicon validation, and first-silicon bring-up.
Coordinate ASIC, firmware, driver, validation, compiler, runtime, and systems teams.
Drive readiness across device initialization, memory management, DMA, interrupts, queues, and power management.
Resolve dependencies involving silicon errata, hardware interfaces, toolchains, and host OSes.
Manage validation through simulation, FPGA prototyping, and hardware emulation.
Identify technical and scheduling risks before they affect silicon or milestones.
